Russell Crowe - Crowes Fears Over Scott Movie

RUSSELL CROWE is desperate to start filming his new movie NOTTINGHAM - but fears it will be delayed if a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) strike gets the go-ahead.

The actor is teaming up with his favoured director Sir Ridley Scott for the upcoming picture, but it has not been given a date for filming because of a looming SAG strike.

He says, "Given that there is still the possibility of a SAG strike, it is not certain when Nottingham would begin. But Sir Ridley is planning on completing it this year."

In the movie, Crowe plays the Sheriff of Nottingham in a different take on the classic tale of Robin Hood.

The union is currently locked in negotiations with Hollywood bosses in a dispute over pay and conditions. If the talks fail to be resolved, the film and TV industry could be crippled by walkouts - much like last year's (07) writers strike.

Is Halle Berry Engaged?

Halle Berry spent the weekend flashing a ring on her engagement finger, prompting rumours she is to marry her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

The couple welcomed a baby girl into the world in March, Nahla Ariela Aubry, and it seems as though the Oscar-winning actress wants to solidify her commitment to Gabriel even further.

A source close to the couple told Showbiz Spy: “Gabriel felt the time was right to propose. He gave her the family heirloom because he wanted to show her how much she means to him, and how she will be accepted into the Aubry family.”

“The ring belonged to Gabriel’s grandmother – it was her engagement ring.”

Is her engagement ring as impressive as these sparklers?

Indiana Jones - Indiana Jones Sequel Was 14 Years In The Making

Work on the new INDIANA JONES movie started 14 years ago, when HARRISON FORD first told director STEVEN SPIELBERG he wanted to make another movie.

It has taken more than a decade to bring the swashbuckling adventure to the big screen, because Spielberg and producer pal George Lucas couldn't agree on a storyline.

Spielberg reveals the pair are perfectionists and refused to begin shooting Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull until they were satisfied they had created a hit.

He says, "Harrison presented me with the Best Picture Oscar for Schindler's List in 1994, and when we went backstage, he said he was ready to make another Indiana Jones movie. The development started soon afterward."

Explaining why it took so long, he adds, "It had to be right."
